A ray of hope in difficult times: busch+müller supports aid convoy to Ukraine

The current situation in many regions of Ukraine is placing an enormous strain on the civilian population. Electricity is often only available for a few hours a day; the nights remain dark, which poses a significant safety risk, particularly during air raid alerts and in the evening hours. Whilst younger people can often rely on their smartphones, older people in particular lack reliable sources of light.

Targeted help for everyday life

Dimitri Bratan, a member of our team, recognised the need and organised an aid convoy through his local community. We were very happy to support this initiative and provided a total of 100 rechargeable spotlights of the IXON Fyre and Eyro models.

These models are ideal for this purpose:

• High luminosity: They provide enough light to find one’s way safely, even in basements or during a night-time alarm.

Gratitude on the ground

The feedback from the crisis zone is moving. The torches were specifically distributed to elderly people, for whom the light restores a sense of quality of life and safety. “People are incredibly grateful for this practical help,” reports Dimitri Bratan after the handover.
