We take a stand. For diversity. For democracy. For cohesion.

Diversity, openness and democratic values are the foundation of our social coexistence and the basis for the sustainable economic success of German family businesses. As part of the ‘Made in Germany – Made by Diversity’ initiative, we recently joined forces with more than 155 family businesses from Germany to promote these values.

But ‘Made in Germany – Made by Diversity’ is more than just an initiative. Behind it lies the desire to have a broad and long-term impact. We are therefore delighted to be actively supporting Made by Diversity e.V. (in formation) as a founding member from day one.

At the beginning of November, 16 like-minded family businesses came together for the founding meeting in Königswinter. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and the historic location on Petersberg provided additional motivation.

The next step will be for our newly elected board to officially register the association, which will then begin its work as a public platform for exchange, education and advocacy.

Our common goal: as family businesses, we must strengthen democratic values, promote diversity and make responsibility visible. This is crucial for our economic success.

The foundation has been laid and we are delighted to be part of this important milestone.
