The relatively new Briq series is the latest success story from the lighting specialists at busch+müller. Now, the new addition to the family, the Briq-M, is positioning itself as an all-rounder and powerhouse – with that certain something.
Powerful visibility with a clever design
The Briq-M E Highbeam delivers 150 lux onto the road, with a wide, perfectly even beam, thanks to its clever combination of a large-surface reflector and high-performance electronics. The high beam switches on effortlessly, illuminating the night beyond the previously razor-sharp cut-off line with an output of 200 lux. The Briq-M E Highbeam reliably offers excellent visibility when riding at speed at night – everywhere.
But what about visibility? The eponymous modular design of the Briq series – here in a black aluminium housing – inspired busch+müller. They gave the headlamp’s appealing face an additional, radiant accent: the light ring. What was previously merely a plain outer edge of the light output on conventional headlights now stands out clearly on the Briq-M as a stylish light signal. In this constantly visible light ring, design and safety merge into a modern whole.
Full control: BLUCON and app
The Briq series has already set trends with the busch+müller app for controlling all lighting functions. The Briq-M E Highbeam also offers this straightforward operation – on the one hand in the form of tested and pre-programmed standard modes, and on the other via individually customisable fine-tuning of the individual light sources.
The ergonomic control panels of the Bluetooth BLUCON control system not only manage the high beam, they also intuitively transmit all the cyclist’s other requirements to the Briq-M E Highbeam. BLUCON features two button panels on which a total of four functions can be programmed.
… and it’s practical too
The aluminium housing is not merely a design element; it serves as a heat sink for the high-performance headlight. Furthermore, the Briq-M E thinks for itself, as a temperature sensor automatically regulates the output when stationary without the cooling effect of the airflow.
Includes a front reflector in individual packaging.
The control button is easy to install, either as a removable unit using a flexible strap or permanently with an aluminium clamp. The button can be swivelled on this clamp mounting – always within easy reach.
Another new feature is the single-arm plastic headlight mount for space-saving handlebar installation. For handlebar diameters from 31.8 mm to ‘oversized’ 35 mm.
The included cable with a space-saving angled plug ensures user-friendly electrical connection.
