The IQ-XS friendly is the first bicycle headlight in a new product range featuring a housing made predominantly from biodegradable plastic.
This development makes it possible to manufacture plastic parts in a more environmentally friendly way, whilst maintaining the usual high quality. The bicycle headlight also offers a light output of 80 lux, sensor-controlled daytime running LEDs, a parking light and a screw-on front reflector.
‘Friendly’ is, moreover, a philosophy that applies to all areas of the busch+müller business and represents a sincere commitment to fulfilling the responsibility we have set ourselves – across all areas of the business. This begins with the conservation of natural resources, extends to fair and cycle-friendly working conditions, and culminates in a closed-loop economy: we source 100 per cent of our energy from hydropower and use the waste heat from production to heat our manufacturing halls.
